Workers Strike Back is a nationwide organization of working people fighting against the billionaire class and their rotten system of capitalism. Workers Strike Back was founded by revolutionary socialist and former Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant. It is based on the working-class fighting strategy Kshama used to win historic and unparalleled victories like the nation’s highest minimum wage, the Amazon Tax, and unprecedented renters’ rights.

Workers Strike Back is fighting to shut down ICE and the detention centers, for an end to the genocide in Gaza, all U.S. military funding to Israel, for free healthcare for all funded by taxing the rich, a national $25/hour minimum wage. We are calling for industries such as fossil fuel, hospital and Big Pharma, and real estate to be taken into democratic public ownership of workers. We are demanding an end to the private insurance industry — no more denial of care, no more profits from sickness!

Workers Strike Back members are active in cities across the nation like Seattle, Los Angeles, Rochester, MN, Peoria, IL, and NYC.
