SEATTLE - Rally for a Strong Contract at PCC

  • Downtown PCC Store 1320 4th Avenue Seattle, WA, 98101 United States (map)

PCC Workers United is holding a rally to send a message to management that we won’t settle for their $18 offer! Over 550 PCC workers have signed our petition by PCC Workers United, demanding $25/hr starting pay, $35 after 3 years, no cuts to benefits and more! In addition, over 80% of PCC workers signed our union’s "Declaration of Demands" that called for $25/hr minimum wages and safe staffing, because this is the bare minimum we need to live in the Seattle area as the cost-of-living continues to skyrocket.

We need as many workers as possible at this action to show management that we’re united and ready to fight. If we have strong turnout at this action, we can empower our bargaining team to fight for as much as possible at the next bargaining session on October 19th!

On Monday, October 23 at 1 PM, we will hold another rally at the Columbia City PCC store. PCC wants to end contract negotiations as soon as possible and go back to business as usual. If our union leadership accepts PCC’s proposals, we want to rally to make it clear that rank-and-file workers will reject anything less than $25/hour starting pay and $35/hour after three years. We will have speakers fresh from the bargaining room to give updates!

Our bargaining team is only as powerful as we are united.

Let’s show PCC that we’re strong and ready to fight.
