San Francisco and the Bay Area are home to some of the wealthiest corporations in the world and some of the world’s richest billionaires. Yet the all-Democrat Board of Supervisors and San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie are planning to slash the city budget by as much as 15 percent and cut critical services for working people, including major cuts to Muni bus and light rail service which working people rely on.
Working people already have a crisis of homelessness, driven by some of the highest rents in the country. We need to get organized to tax big business to stop the cuts & fund things that working people need — social housing and expanded, free mass transit!
